The standard workmanship warranty is 2 years and it is written into your contract before you pay us a single dollar. The current welcome offer extends it to 3 years in the very same contract clause, with the same coverage and one extra year of cover.

Why workmanship is the honest word
A lot of contractors sell a long warranty and hope you never read it. Read those and you find the cover sits with a manufacturer in another state, and the claim only counts if the installer followed instructions nobody can prove either way. We do not do that. Ours is a workmanship warranty and it is ours, from Hollywood, Florida. If the bond let go, if a seam opened, if the edge lifted, if the water pools where we set the fall, that is us and we own it. Two years is long enough to see whether the install was right. A South Florida surface goes through two summers of heat, two rainy seasons and a hurricane season inside that window. Bad prep does not hide that long.
The terms sit in the paperwork you sign, not in a folder we keep to ourselves.
What we will not cover
Three things fall outside, and we say them out loud before you sign. Damage you put into the surface is the first one. A dragged grill leg, a dropped umbrella spike, a cigarette, a bucket of pool acid tipped over. That is a repair, and repairs we do, but they are not warranty work. The second is base movement we already flagged to you in writing. If we told you at the measurement that your slab was moving and you asked us to surface it anyway, the note is on the quote and it stands. The third is ordinary aging. Color mellows in Florida sun. Every pigment does. A deck that has held up for two summers and gone half a shade softer is doing exactly what it should.
Mechanical damage like this is a repair we will price, not a claim we will fight.
How a claim actually goes
Call or text 754-999-9766 and send pictures. Photos in daylight, one wide so we can see where it sits, one close on the problem. Most of the time we know from the pictures what happened. Then somebody comes out within a week and puts hands on it. Not a claims desk in another state, one of our own people, standing on your deck. If it is ours, we schedule the fix and you pay nothing. If it is not ours, you get told straight and you get a price for the repair, in writing, before anyone starts. Nobody at this company is paid to talk you out of a callback. It is cheaper for us to fix a small thing early than to argue about a big one later.

Questions we get
What counts as a workmanship failure and what does not?
If the surface came apart at the bond, the seam or the edge, that is workmanship. If the binder is shedding granules beyond the normal first weeks, that is workmanship. If water pools because we set the fall wrong, that is workmanship too. Anything that happened to the surface after we handed it over is a repair, and we price those separately.
When do I actually get the warranty document?
With the quote, before any money moves. You read the full terms while you are deciding, not after you have paid a deposit. If something in it does not sit right with you, that is the moment to say so. We would rather change a line in the paperwork than have an argument on a deck two years from now.
Will pool chlorine or salt water void my cover?
Normal pool use is what the surface is built for. Splash out, chlorinated water, salt system water, rinse down after a storm, none of that is a problem and none of it changes your cover. A container of undiluted chemical tipped straight onto the deck is a spill, and spills sit with the mechanical damage already listed. Rinse it fast and usually there is nothing to fix.
What if a hurricane tears up my deck?
A storm ripping at your deck is damage to the surface, which sits on the same side of the line as any other mechanical damage. So it is not a warranty claim. Call us anyway. We have patched a lot of decks after storms and a poured surface repairs into itself, so you are not looking at redoing the whole area.
Is the 3 year warranty real?
Yes. The standard workmanship warranty is 2 years, written into your contract before you pay us anything. Under the current welcome offer it is extended to 3 years by the very same contract clause, so the coverage stays exactly the same and it simply runs one extra year.
